    Swamp Deer: There are three subspecies of swamp deer found in the Indian Subcontinent.The western swamp deer found in Nepal, Southern swamp deer/Hard Ground Barasingha found in central and north India and Eastern swamp deer in the Kaziranga (Assam) and Dudhwa National Parks (Uttar Pradesh). Protection Status of Swamp Deer: IUCN Red List: Vulnerable; CITES: Appendix I; Wildlife Protection Act, 1972: Schedule I.

    E-shram portal: launched by Ministry of Labour and Employment to register 38 crore unorganised workers such as construction labourers, migrant workforce, street vendors, and domestic workers, among others. The workers will be issued an e-Shram card containing a 12-digit unique number.     Deltacron: a strain of Covid-19 combining delta and omicron was found in Cyprus. The discovery has been named “deltacron” because of identification of omicron-like genetic signatures within delta genomes. Its statistical analysis highlights that, relative frequency of combined infection is higher among patients hospitalized due to Covid-19 as compared to non-hospitalized patients.
